We are committed to helping our patients remove the added years that hearing loss barriers create. Our staff is professional, positive, patient, and caring. We spend the necessary time to completely assess what can be done to help each patient's hearing and neurological health. Many of our patients are surprised to learn that, despite exhibiting a mild or moderate hearing loss, hearing instruments will not be recommended.  Other compensatory treatment methods may be more appropriate.  It is our goal to develop and implement a total plan that will remove those years, allowing our patients to live more exciting, vibrant lives. Call us for an appointment today!

Some of the services we provide are:

-- Audiogram -- This is the complete hearing evaluation, testing your ability to hear a variety of speech and environmental sounds, quantifying any level of hearing deficit. The purpose of the audiogram is to determine the degree and nature of hearing loss.  The audiogram is important to rule out other pathologies which might contribute to hearing loss (including ear wax; perforated eardrum; small tumors involving the external, middle and inner ear; etc.)

-- Hearing Aid Evaluations -- In order to prescribe and adjust the best hearing aid device for your situation, our hearing aid specialists (audiologists) will first determine your personal hearing profile, or "audiogram." This is accomplished by testing your ability to hear a variety of speech and environmental sounds.

-- Counselling -- Once we have listened to your communication concerns and your personal expectations with regard to your hearing, we will provide you with detailed advice on the most appropriate plan for improving your hearing and understanding conversation:

1.) Which ear has a hearing deficit?

2.) Which style and prescription of hearing instrument is most suitable for your hearing loss and lifestyle?  digitally programmable hearing aids, or fully digital hearing aids?

3.) Do you want to regulate the volume of the hearing instrument yourself, or would you prefer a hearing aid device that adjusts automatically to any hearing situation?

4.) Which technology best suits your hearing loss or your personal situation? a...

           a.) Completely In-the-Canal (CIC),

           b.) In-the-Canal (ITC),

           c.) In-the-Ear (ITE), or

           d.) Behind-the-Ear (BTE)?

-- Follow-up Care -- Once we have gathered all of this information from you, we will prescribe the best hearing aids and the most affordable hearing aids for your profile.  After we have successfully fitted you with your new hearing aid instruments, we will spend time training and advising you as to their care and maintenance. Additionally, we will check your hearing instruments at any time. In this way, we can ensure that the sound quality is maintained and, at the same time, extend the life of your new hearing aid technology.
